“Excellent use of the fens”

Fans of Jim Kelly's Phillip Dryden series will love this. You kinow when 1979 & the present day (2005). You think you know where, but Who? How? and Why? is not resoved until the very end. On the way you have to discover What is the link between past & present? Can you escape your past. Can you put the past right and what happens when what you think happened didn't? Lennon know the Cambridge area well & has a love - hate relationship with it. Describing the gift of a parking place: Fletcher knew that in Cambridge, eight sq. meters of Tarmac was the highest reward on this earth.
When you've finished this go on to Steel Witches.
“Brilliant read”

I found this book by chance and can't praise it enough.If you like Deborah Crombie , Val Mcdermid and Peter James, you will enjoy this too.I fell in love with his detective Fletcher and hope that he will apear in more novels, he's a Roy Grace kind of policeman and I can't wait for the next episode.
