Reviews: Contagious (2)

I started following Scott Sigler's books with his freely available podcasts (Earthcore and Ancestor) which are basically a wild, blood-fuelled rush through the horror/Sci-fi genre. Infected was a fabulous podcast audiobook which went into print after the success of his earlier works and spawned this sequel.I couldn't put it down - the characters are laid out in Infected so you really need to read that book first and the plot is fast and furious from start to finish. Each chapter (mostly very short as the action moves between numerous characters/locations in a natural and fluid way) builds the story and drags the reader deeper into Mr Sigler's world. No big plot twists, no holes that leave you wanting explanations, just action, action, action from cover to cover.

Following his thrilling novel INFECTED, this sequel continues the story so well. My best description is Scott Sigler's style is part Michael Crichton, part Stephen King, but written at a level that draws every one in. Defintely you will find Adult language and LOTS and LOTS of violence. But worth every intense moment. You really need to read INFECTED first to fully enjoy this book, but you can read through and feel you are only missing a minor bit by how well this is written. And this book is already a a New York Times best seller... So I'm obviously not the only one who feels this way. Enjoy it and gt more books by Scott Sigler free at his website in audio format read by the FDO himself ( visit his website to understand FDO)... http://www.scottsigler.com
