Reviews: Connected (1)
“Not about the internet but quite interesting”
(Paperback)
Connected is a worthy addition to a line of recent popular social psychology books. It focuses on patterns of connection between people and how these patterns can influence behaviour, beliefs and happiness. Some of the case studies are fascinating - outbreaks of sexual proclivity in the US, unstoppable laughing in Africa and lots on Stanley Milgram and his experiments. It's not as good as The Tipping Point and is a little too long, but it's worth a read if you're into this stuff.
