Having read a number of books by Gail Carriger, I was keen to read the four books of THE CUSTARD PROTOCOL. It may seem strange that a 70 year old enjoys Steampunk (I had to look it up to see what it actually was) but how can you not be drawn in, to such fanciful story telling. I had started by Gail Carriger journey with THE PARASOL PROTECTORATE, after they had been recommended by a friend and was hooked From the first page, so reading more about this extraordinary group of characters was a must. I purchased the four books in the series of THE CUSTARD PROTOCOL and had the problem of reading them too quickly, I ended up having to pace myself to make them last - They Were That Good. ENJOY!
