Simply a great book! On my learning curve of tree identification it's been by my side all the way, not leaving my backpack since I bought it. Its a good size and weight, beautiful illustrations, clear text, well laid out and so far comprehensive. The leaf identification at the front is very useful, as are the winter twig guides. Speeds up the process no end! When I'm out in the field with other students doing surveys and ID skills, we all end up looking through this book over others. Highly recommended. *****
