Summing this book up in one word...Brilliant would have to do it! As a twelve year old reader, I would reccommend this book to all young readers above the age of 12. The series of Cherub by Robert Muchamore blows me away and I look forward to the new series Henderson's Boys as it looks like it is going to be a HUGE hit and I will certainly be pre-ordering my copy of the first book!

oh my god!i am totally gutted that it comes out in australia first and we have to wait another month.i asked my parents if we could go to australia to get the book. they said no :(

I loved the series and The General was one of the best for me, the use of a laxative in the middle of a war game, GENIUS. I have read the escape in the new series and cannot wait to read the second one, i am also looking forward to reading M C Brigands

I think "the general" was not as good as the privious cherub books.I am a huge fan of cherub and I was a bit dissapointed with it.I am still looking forward to bridlands m.c (if I am correct)which will be out soon."The general" story line was not great and I got a little bit confused after a while.But still I think "cherub" is one of the best series ever!.
