“Cowboy romance perfection”
(Paperback)
by Kels
If you want a really good bingeworthy romance, that makes you dream of the cowboy life this is the book! Ex boyfriend’s dad? That man was feral and I found it very addictive!
“Cowboy hunk”

A story woven from forbidden longing into everlasting love. Colton Wilder—every dreamer’s cowboy—rides through these pages with strength and tenderness, and in the ashes of hardship, his bond with Lyla sparks into a fire they both were destined to find. It is an epic of devotion and grit, laced with playful twists and heat that smolders just right. Each moment drew me deeper, every page a tether pulling me close. The passion burns when it must, never too much, always enough. Scene by scene, the world unfolds with beauty, the tale itself a masterpiece of romance— truly, love written at its highest tier.
“It’s one star from me… respectfully!”

Since the dawn of time (or at least since I downloaded TikTok), I should’ve learned not to trust BookTok recommendations. Yet here I was, marching confidently into Chasing the Wild by Elliott Rose, expecting literary excellence.Instead, I was emotionally betrayed. This book bored me with a capital B. The plot? Non-existent. The pacing? Comatose. The dialogue? So cringy it triggered my fight-or-flight response. And before anyone asks, yes, I have receipts: go read the first line of Chapter 21. I physically recoiled. I vomited a little in my mouth. I briefly considered learning how to read backwards just to undo the damage. The worst part? It NEVER STOPS. OH NO The cringe persists. It multiplies. It sets up camp. The dialogue is so nauseating that I’m genuinely worried it’s going to show up in my dreams like a sleep paralysis demon whispering terrible one-liners at me. This book didn’t just waste my time — it altered my brain chemistry. If you enjoy secondhand embarrassment so intense it causes organ failure, paired with a plot that feels like it was assembled using spare vibes and a dartboard, then congratulations — this is your book.Final verdict: I hate this book. BookTok, once again, has wronged me. The⭐ one star, is for the tree that died so this could be printed and the effort it took to finish the book.
