Reviews: Chart Throb (3)
“I'll never see X Factor in the same way again!”
(Paperback)
As usual Ben Elton is full of witty satire and this book brings together his talent for writing about romance, humour and modern culture. Both a funny and thought-provoking read, great for everyone to enjoy.

This was the first Ben Elton book I read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't stand the Pop/American Idol type of program, and this cynical send-up of the genre seemed right on the money to me. It was a very funny read, yet it had some heart as well. I went right back to the store to get more books by Ben Elton, and so far I haven't been disappointed!
“Chart Throb”
(Paperback)
I really like most of Ben Elton's novel but i was VERY DISAPPOINTED by 'Chart Throb'. The way it is written i found to be very annoying as it isn't in chapters, more snap shots of each characters life, and to be honest their characters who you just don't care about one bit! Therfore I had to stop reading the book half way through.
