One might mistakenly think that this is a simple reinterpretation of the myth of Cassandra. Still, Christa Wolf manages to create a small literary treasure that traces the whole life of the Trojan priestess of Apollo. An ordinary woman, a daughter, a sister, a lover, a mother and a priestess cursed to utter true prophecy but never to be believed.
