This is a riveting retelling of the plight of the Zaandam. A cruise ship stuck at sea when when it's covid-19 outbreak caused port after port to refuse them entry. Written with as much accuracy and transparency as possible, the authors seek to tell the story of the ship as factually accurate as possible. Nonetheless it is a moving account of the best and worst of humanity. I was gripped by the stories within, and struggled to put the book down. A very good read if you are intrigued by human interest stories.

A sweaty, intense recount of a covid outbreak on a cruise ship. This vigorous telling leaves nothing out and surprised me at every turn. I had no idea of the chaos that erupted on this ship, and will never forget it.
