This was an enjoyable read. I had to finish this one in a day as it was exciting. I love westerns and this was the more old fashioned style of gun slinging type novel with plenty of action. It was a great storyline and I enjoyed the characters they felt realistic and developed well throughout the story. I actually rated this book 3.5 stars rounded up as it is better than a average read. This book had a great medium pace to it. I am looking forward to reading silver trail Christmas out in October. I did lose concentration a few times while reading this book but I can't put my finger on what is was about the book that didn't fully keep my attention. I understand that this may be a personal thing and if you love reading westerns then you should read a sample of the book. As my above average review of the book might be your 5 star read. I enjoyed it the story just didn't stick with me. Many thanks to the author and publishers for creating this enjoyable high action novel.
