The colour palette was gorgeous... Sometimes you have to lose everything to see what is really right in front of you. This felt a little slow-paced in the beginning - however I consumed it in one sitting, within an hour and couldn't put it down! The bonus content at the back, including a playlist & sour dough recipe were such sweet extra touches. This filled the Heartstopper shaped void in my heart, and I appreciated the Samon-American & Greek-American representation!

This is such a sweet, atmospheric coming-of-age romance! The artwork is soft and beautiful, with bold lines and delicate blue tones, it somehow captures a teenage summer perfectly.

This gorgeous stand-alone graphic novel tells the story of two young men brought together by a summer of working in a bakery. Drawn entirely in blue tones, it's visually stunning, and has a charming storyline. It even includes a recipe and a mix CD at the end for you to enjoy!

I read this all in one sitting in under an hour. It’s basically heartstopper meets the great British bake-off. The use of an all blue colour palette sets a wonderful ambience throughout. Definitely worth a read!

Bloom is adorable. Seriously. It's a summer romance, coming of age, and family angst story, all rolled together, sprinkled with icing sugar, and baked at 350 for 25minutes. The soft, cool palette used is the exact feeling you get from this book; fresh, chilled, and a little cold at times, but overall really beautiful and welcome. I love the art style, I love the story, and I love the characters and their arcs. Bloom is fantastic, perfect for reading whilst sitting in the sunshine or next to an open window while it's raining.
