Blind sighted, alongside Fallen is the book I can read over and over. An introduction of two characters you will get to know very well throughout the Grant County series. Chilling story portrayed by an excellent author, Sibyl, the sister of Lena, is murdered brutally in the bathroom of a Diner leaving Lena to not only discover her body but go on the hunt for her killer, the journey to discover her killer is exciting and will leave you wanting more... a real page turner.

This is the first in the Grant County series (of which I've already read two of the later ones) and as such introduces all the characters, their quirks and their histories. Even though this is the starting novel I still found Sara and Jeff's relationship rather irksome (this is personal opinion and may not annoy many readers) and a bit of an unnecessary distraction from the story. I did also find Lena a bit irritating this time too as her angry victim routine took more of a center stage than in it does in later books. Again this is personal taste and may not annoy everyone (may not even annoy me if I read this again...then again it probably will!). The story itself though is rather good (although I did manage to guess who the killer was but I'm not sure if that is because it is mentioned in later books and I remember it on a sub-conscience) and has plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader interested.
