Many people turn their noses up at the graphic novel, believing them to be just for children or not serious enough to bother with, well this one I would say is worth it. It is about first love, religion and finding out who you are. It is like a low budget American Indie film, quite simple but story driven driven, full of emotions, some pain some joy, slightly melancholy, but positive and overall totally brilliant.

An unforgettable story tinged with aching memory as Thompson recalls the trials and tribulations of his youth. People are complicated, often overly so, and he duly nails these complications like never before in graphic novel form. This is art, and a searing emotional experience.
