A story about a hired killer which builds and builds and then twists. Little nods and references to the history Mr.King has created which send a ripple of excitement through his fans. An end worthy of the complex character.

I have to confess that I had never read any Stephen King before this, and given the hype about previous writing, this book had a lot to live up to. It certainly did not disappoint!!! I was hooked from page one, and could not put it down - reading until daft times in the morning as I needed to know what happened. I was a quite disappointed to finish it, and a little lost now that I have. All I can articulate right now is WOW, what a book. Sometimes with thrillers they can fade in and out of gripping passages, but this did not. So well written and characters so comprehensively formed, I was very impressed. I'm already back online seeing what is next for me in the world of Stephen King!

Another great story form the master Stephen King, it's a must read for the constant reader.

Brilliant story. Slow start but once it gets going it is impossible to stop reading it. The stories are so detailed that you can actually see them in your head, and make you need a break to cope with the emotions.

Quite simply a masterpiece.
