Reviews: Bee (2)
“Beautiful book”
(Paperback)
A beautiful story with a lovely rhyme to it. Gorgeous illustrations. My son is absolutely captivated by this book at bedtime ( currently 2 years 4 months) and we have purchased several of her other books because of this ( Tree, Sea, Moon). Really impressed with the quality of the physical book and the stunning detail in the illustrations. Great book and story to instill a sense of awe and wonder towards Nature.
“One of the most beautiful books I’ve ever bought!”
(Paperback)
Everything about this book is beautiful. Not just the (absolutely gorgeous) illustrations, but details you can’t appreciate unless you’re holding it in your hands - the texture of the cover, the lovely use of paper cutting throughout the book and the way the text poetically describes the ‘tiny miracle’ of bees along with their surroundings. It’s such a relaxing book to read with my children and I love reaching for it when things are hectic and we could all do with chilling out. My son (4) loves finding the ladybird and caterpillar which appear on every page. I particularly love that the book also shows the life cycle of said caterpillar, through the chrysalis stage to its emergence as a butterfly.
