“Amazing Azul”

Loved the fact that you didn’t need lots of people to play this game - 2 is fine ( and when you are involving children this is even better!) . A few people had mentioned it was a bit tricky but we didn’t overthink it and had a good time playing it. It might sound silly but it’s also a beautiful game so aesthetically it gets a big tick from me. It’s a simple game of strategy which young and old can enjoy !
“Such a fun game”

I recently played this game with my gaming friends. Wow this is so fun to play as it got me strategizing against others and constantly thinking of my next movements. I found it easy to understand and didn't get bored at all. It will now be up there with my favourite games to play and super excited to teach my husband to play.
“The more you play , the better it gets!”

First impression was the beauty of the packaging, designs on the tiles, bags and the boards. Very tactile tile pieces. It is a complex game of many stages and levels so it took a while to get the complete hang of it , and we had to dip back into the rule book a couple of times as questions arose during the game. We started playing it on a very simple level but soon many deeper tactics revealed themselves to us as the game developed. We played it again the next day and because we started with a deeper understanding from the beginning it was much more enjoyable, tactical and cut-throat against each other. We are a family keen of strategic games and I belong to a monthly games club, so I will definitely be taking this along and introducing my group to Azul!!

I think this is one of my favourite game board ever! It's easy to set and super easy to start playing, you only need to build your own mural. The more colours you put more points you'll get at the end! This is a family/friends game, and once you start it will be impossible to not play again!

What an interesting and addictive game it is! I did not expect it to be so good when I first heard about it. As soon as I opened the box, the first impression was - it’s so good looking, can’t take my eyes off. I keep repeating myself that it’s so aesthetically pleasing. Very important aspect I’d say. The game itself is appealing due to its strategic nature. You have to try to predict other players intentions. Its beautiful components and simple rules make it a standout choice for game nights. However, its competitive nature can lead to intense decision-making moments. The only downside is that it is so addictive as already mentioned. The boards could be improved slightly so tiles do not move. Magnetic tiles, or boards with the slots would be very helpful. I saw compatible laser cut transparent boards to purchase online for this game, so may buy for own convenience. But that’s not big of a deal and wouldn’t turn me down from this game. Overall, Azul deserves a place in any board game collection.
