This really is such a pretty game to look at. The tiles are just beautiful. We really enjoyed the game. Both my 8 and 12 year olds learnt the rules quickly and we had a lot of fun playing. Would highly recommend!

How dare you create such a beautiful game. I had to actually put my wine down and swap to cola to get serious. You brought out my husbands competitive side. We spent time together instead of playing video games... pft. All in all wonderful game and all jokes aside we loved spending time together wrapping our heads around it. Can't wait to teach our friends now!

What a game! This is a calm strategic game that while it takes a while to understand their scoring is highly addictive. Totally recommend this game to anyone. Takeaway the scoring and even my 5-year-old enjoyed it

We’ve loved playing Azul and now I think I need the mini for our holiday. The playing pieces are lovely and the rules are simple enough that the kids picked them up quickly! I’m already looking at the variant games - stained glass is next on my list as well as the mini. 100% recommend for families or for a games night as a warm up game to get your brain thinking strategically. Suitable for 2-4 players and you can flip the player boards over for a harder game which is great too as a mini extension.

It took us a moment to get our heads around the rules/scoring but after a trial round or two we really enjoyed the game. We played with our 9 year old who loved it too. As a tile artist, your task is to adorn the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora. Players choose colored tiles from suppliers for their player boards, then score points based on their placement. Bonus points are awarded for specific patterns and sets, while unused tiles reduce scores. The player with the highest score wins.
