This is such an excellent game we have played it non stop. It’s so much fun. We’ve played with 2-4 players. We enjoyed it best with 3 or 4 people. If you’ve been on the fence about adding this to your collection I’d really recommend it.

Azul is a beautiful tile drafting game that can be played simply and just enjoyed or strategically for those who enjoy more of a challenge. The beauty of this game is that every game played is different depending on player actions. The tiles are tactile and eye-catching and the rules are simple to learn with an average game lasting 30-45minutes. Highly recommend for families and board game lovers!

The design of the box, playing tiles and pieces draw you in straight away. The pieces are of good quality and great that everything you need is in the box, scoring is on your board so need for paper and pens. Took us a while to get to grips with the rules of play but fortunately we played the game online before attempting the board game. This gave us the basic rules and made it quicker to get started with the board game. Scoring took a little while but the rules are easy to follow once you get the idea.It is definitely a game to read the rules whilst playing as it makes more sense. We tend to take it in turns and score each board together at the end of each round. My youngest comes in from school and asks to play this game over other games we own. It has been great for her mental maths and now we have played it she is started to come up with good, strategic moves to score the most points. A great family game that helps to grow strategic minds. A game you can get addicted to quite quickly and definitely gets easier and more fun the more you play. Don’t give up on your first attempt. Our ages are 6, 9 by and 44 years old. My parents played too and they are in their 70’s

Myself, family and friends thoroughly enjoyed this game. You need to think ahead, use strategy and concentrate. It can take a while to get your head around the rules but it was worth the patience. I would highly recommend this to any board game enthusiasts or if you’re looking for a new game to enjoy with family/friends.

Although rather complicated to begin with and takes several goes to get your head around, it slowly sucks you in and makes you want to play again and again. Very hard to understanding the scoring system but apart from that a fabulous game with stunning tiles and a general well made feel. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go have another game of Azul.
