“Couldn't put it down”
(Hardback)
I really loved this book. The interaction between the two female characters reminded me of how I relate to my own friends and just made me laugh at how real the relationship seemed.
I had to keep reading to get to the end just to know how it would all end.
I didn't really like the way it ended but the rest of the story and the characters were more than enough to make up for it and I would gladly pick it up again and again.
I would recommend this to fans of Sophie Kinsella and Jill Mansell. If you enjoy chicklit with a healthy dose of humour and a bit of serious note too this is the one for you to read.

I mean, oh gosh, I can't even, damn. Now, I really liked Fangirl, one of the author's other titles, but there were things that stopped me from loving it, mainly to do with the subject matter, but I wanted to, I really. But this novel, oh, now this, this I could love with silly, girly, wanton abandon. The thing to understand about this book, is that from the beginning, when you first read the blurb, you have a pretty good idea as to what's going to happen. For a lot of books, this is not a good thing. But the bestest, most best part about this book, is that while you are hoping, praying to the book God in the great library in the sky that it will be so, you get to watch the whole thing unfold in all it's wonderful fuzzy-feeling-inducing glory. And it is perfect, and it is lovely, it is a snuggly blanket in which to encase yourself, safe from the evils of which lie beyond the pages, the dreaded, the so-called, real world. You no doubt be beaming from ear to ear when you are finished, except when you realise the awful truth, which that it is books like this, that make it impossible for girls to find the One, that perfect One that will be the tea to your scones, the tom to your jerry, the Sherlock to your Holmes, because they exist only within the pages of a book. Because the Ones we want live in the books. But there is always the dream, and that is the hope this lovely novel gives us!!
“Read it!”
(Paperback)
I really loved this book. It's unashamedly a romcom but one of the good ones. Lincoln is a wonderful character, there are times when you want him to get his act together a little but he actually shows development throughout the novel which is a nice change.
Although the idea of him reading other people's emails is a little weird it doesn't come across creepy at all. It's just seems to happen and you can imagine almost anyone would do the same in his position.
I really would recommend this book to anyone, its a quick read but completely heart-warming. Read it!
“Big Brother really is watching you!”
(Hardback)
Fun, quirky and sometimes just a little hard to swallow ... this book had me laughing out loud and also caught me with a lump in my throat.
The characters are so easily identifiable - I'm sure we could all liken them to friends and work colleagues.
I loved the email banter between Beth and Jennifer - there were some absolute classics.
I was hooked from start to finish - though feel slightly cheated by the ending. This said it wouldn't stop me from recommending the book to friends; particularly anyone working in an office environment!
Well worth a read.
“A nice romance”
(Paperback)
I love romance novels always have, so I enjoyed the romance in this book but I have to say it wasn't all good. The main character Lincoln is a great character who you find very easy to love and root for, although at times you could see some potentially controlling elements in his character which were portrayed as infatuation. I would have to say that the end of this novel did feel rushed and this was the part of the story I would have liked to have seen explored in more detail. Overall nothing special but a nice story.
