“A smush of so many genres!”
(Hardback)
by Jess Grossmith
This book had such an intriguing premise and I loved every second. It truly is a mix of so many well-loved genres, which could have ended up disjointed and overwhelmed, but it really didn't! This is a real state-of-the-nation novel that could definitely start to hit close to home. The rise of AI is something we're all experiencing, and this brought to life so many things that could happen. The story was gripping throughout, and I really had no idea where the plot would take me next. It was such a fascinating world created, and I couldn't put it down I just wanted to know more. This is a must read, and I would love this series to continue! Thank you to the publisher for sending me a copy to read and review!
“Interesting”

I throughly enjoyed this book, it has such a range of topics, but at no point does it become confusing or too much. I brings together so many different genres, so it can be enjoyed by all readers. The topics of AI and climate change are discussed in a future sense, but scarily realistic at today’s times. I really enjoyed seeing both sides/opinions of the events and the moral ethnics that are raised. The characters were all interesting, I changed my mind on them so many times. The book is fast-paced, I was intrigued throughout and didn’t want it to end!
“Climate Change in the future”
(Hardback)
by Jen1010
A story for contemplation. Set less than 30 years in the future and our planet is suffering. Climate Crisis is headline news and millions died in the previous year through heat and humidity. One of those was the wife of journalist Marcus Tully, and he suspects a cover up. As the election for the first World Governor in charge of Climate is about to take place, one candidate is basically a robot, Tully investigates the deep secrets of a murky candidate. Lots to make you think but also lots of characters to keep up with. A chilling or should that be hot and humid tale of the future.
“Interesting but flawed”
(Hardback)
by Ann Alderton
This was intriguing conceptually but there was too much going on to make it really compelling. Culling some of the themes and developing more engaging characters would have made it more appealing.
