Christopher Hitchens was one of the great orators, a formidable intellectual with a mind like a library and a tongue like a cutlass. Much missed, but at least we have his videos and his writings. Even for anyone's lifetime.

I hadn't read any of Christopher Hitchens' work before but was aware of his reputation so I thought he'd be an interesting read, which he certainly proves to be. The book doesn't have to be read from front to back, but by selecting a chapter at random (they stand alone), this is a book to pick up when finding oneself with a short amount of time on one's hands and wanting to be entertained. I find he writes with a fresh perspective on pretty much everything, including well known characters on the public stage, and he has an alternative way of expressing himself which is very refreshing and rather clever, I think.
