Amity is a gripping story from beginning to end and almost impossible to put down and will no doubt be many a Book Club choice. The book is beautifully written with unforgettable characters that will steal your heart. It is a story of love, a quest for freedom, family, adventure, joy along with sorrow and so much more that my review could never do this book justice. Coleman departs on a journey to find his sister June and things dont always go smoothly. Its an ardouous journey that will have you feel you are there as well. I have had The Sweetness of Water by Nathan Harris on my TBR list for a long time so I am getting it off the shelf and bumping it up on the list as I so love his writing and story telling.
