This book is hard to put down once you start reading. It's captivating, unexpected in places and over far too soon. I hope to see more from this new talent.

This book draws you in right from the beginning. It has some strong characters and great descriptive qualities. Makes a light read for adults too.

Akea is a heartwarming and cleverly written book with many unpredictable twists and turns to enjoy. It's a story that proves finding your place in this world is a hard and emotional journey. I would definitely read more books written by this inspirational young author.

Once again Elizabeth has shown what a quality young writer she is. This tale is gripping. Elizabeth demonstrates that she has the rare ability to get under the skin of animals and to truly understand them. I certainly recommend this as an absorbing and satisfying read.
