It suprises me how fast Felixs' life moves on. He is still upset about Zelda but already he has been able to see him mother and live with Gabriek.

I absolutely adore this series of books and was so glad that Morris decided to go back to Felix's story. These books always touch me and leave their fingerprints on my heart and After will definitely stay with me long after I've turned the last page. A tender and honest account of the horrors that World War Two uncovered.

After is the fourth book in Morris Gleitzman's series about Felix, a Jewish boy trying to survive World War Two. The things that Felix goes through are horrific and traumatising, yet he remains kind and selfless throughout. These books never fail to make me cry and, though they are for younger readers, I think that they are a very important read for any age
