Thank you very much DK books for a copy of ABC Pride in exchange of my honest opinion. I am very, very lucky I got sent this book. It was an absolute pleasure to read and to learn some more about the LGBTQ+ community. This is the kind of book that should be in every household, nursery and school. It is essential we teach children from a very young age that every person is different, feel different, act different and dress different. And that is totally okay. These pages scream respect, kindness, information, knowledge and tolerance. I also adored the illustrations, as it really shows what the words want to broadcast. Lastly, I really liked the questions and discussion at the end. I thing they are a great way to start a debate and find out more about the community.

A wonderfully illustrated ABCs of Pride! A very good introduction to the basics of Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community. I liked that it was inclusive of all kinds of queer identities and even making a point to say it's okay to be you, however you are most comfortable, and that's what is important. I was kindly given this book and I'm overwhelmed with how gorgeous this book is. A perfect introduction to little kids about the LGBTQ+ community, feelings and explaining about how we're all different. Stunning illustrations with a few questions in the back to help start a conversation with little ones about LGBTQ+. Love it

I absolutely loved reading through this one with my little sisters and brother (ages 2 -5) and was amazed at how accessible the language was for them. Thanks to this perfectly pastel book, it's carefully considered words and stunning illustrations, they now have the language to talk about their queer family members and will better understand other queer people they encounter. What a lovely start to pride month!

A concise and fun book with so much love poured into it! The colourful and bold illustrations make each letter pop off the page and perfectly guide the reader through every positive message. A copy has now been given to my local primary school where it's used as a comprehensive and accessible resource for primary school-age children, possibly more suited to Key Stage 2. It's a brilliant tool that can be used to support teaching children about diversity and inclusion, both at home and in schools.
