Reviews: A Spring Affair (3)
“A Spring Affair”
(Paperback)
Milly Johnson has a natural talent in writing, I loved this. I read it in one sitting, along with ots of cups of tea! I like the flow of the book, like someone was telling me the story in my head and I could see them, so addictive!I wanted to know what happened to the characters as they were more than just 2D characters, they were bought to life on the page! This is a treat for anyone! Can't wait to read the other two!!!!
“Going from strength to strength”
(Paperback)
I rate it 4.25-4.5. This book is written in such a way that I wondered whether Milly Johnson drew from personal experience. It is actually well written, and the issues that surrounds the story needed raising. It stirs up a lot of emotions though, how unjust it has been etc, and sometimes I think I was too empathetic and had to vent the emotions in real life instead. I was also trying to find the connection in characters between this book and the previous ones, I know it is there, but can’t remember it! I am glad I read this on holiday, now to bring it safely back to the library I borrowed from.
“A Spring Affair”
(Paperback)
I don't know who was more in love with Tom Broom, me or Lou Winter! I really enjoyed this book and have recommended it to my friends (who have read it and recommended it too!). I have a feeling that i could rival Lou in the amount of rubbish she removed from her house, but i'd definitely be keeping my other half (this book made me realise i'm very lucky in that respect).
