This is the second Archer book and is as professionally executed as the first and as with all David Baldacci books there is a lot of description but there are clues and relevant information hidden throughout. The post war era in which the story is set is refreshing change to most crime novels on the market currently and is certainly a welcomed break from Baldacci's usual cops and robbers style thrillers. This is a fabulously entertaining historical read that I found wonderfully compelling and suspenseful. Highly recommended.
