A good quick read - always a twist at the end! A Very good series!

The 8th Confession is the eight outing of the women’s murder club written by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. This is an okay way to spend a Sunday afternoon, it is easy to read without having to think too hard. Bagman Jesus has been murdered and Cindy finds the body and she takes this personally so much, she writes a newspaper report. Others in the homeless community have plenty of positive things to say about Bagman Jesus and nobody can understand why anyone would want to murder him. The Baileys are arguing after a night out at the opera, and they have little way of knowing this is going to be their last moments on earth. With the circles that the Baileys move in Boxer is given the lead in the case. When the bodies are autopsied Claire Washburn cannot find a reason why they should be dead, and the police are not happy. It does not help when a society designer dies in a similar way and again with little reason as to why. A former colleague of Boxer’s visits her and talks about a series of unsolved crimes from 1982 and Boxer hopes that the evidence still exists in the stores. She hopes that there is something in those evidence boxes that may help her today. Boxer also seems to have opened a can of worms looking in the Bagman Jesus case, while Yuki is suffering in the courts with a series of losses. This is an okay murder mystery story.
