Having just turned 17 in 1971 and left Scotland to work in England, I saw my first English games during that season primarily in the Yorkshire region where initially Leeds were banned from Elland Road and I saw their games in Hull and Huddersfield. This book contains a host of interesting sub stories as the author includes snippets about other competitions although the main focus is on League 1 when a host of top teams with mainly British players competed for the honours.
