“Brilliant strategy game”

by Lucy Barnden
I received this product for free, but this is an honest review. We had previously played 7 Wonders Dual, so this game was East for us to get to grips with. We thoroughly enjoyed playing this, and the different levels and ages. There is something for everyone in this board game, and it really makes you think as the ages progress. You can't do everything, so you have to make your mind up pretty early on which way you're going to play. I really liked the fact its not just what you do, but you have to keep in mind what other players are doing, what they're playing and what might be useful to them. Play your cards tactically!! It's a great family game and my 8 year old loved playing with us. He got it straight away and dived right in...beating my pretty much every time! We taught it to family who don't play board games as much as us, and although tricky, they understood by the end and thoroughly enjoyed it, asking to play again! 5 stars from this household! If you love.board games, love strategy and games that are a bit more complex, it is for you! Love.the aesthetics of the game too, the cards are beautiful in design and illustration. The pieces are all well made and make for a really good quality game
“Good Strategy Game, Great Fun”

I received the product for free, but this is an honest review The game feels and looks lovely. At first I thought it was going to be very complicated but I watched a short tutorial video and with the instruction book was able to really get into the game on the first play through. We played as an adult group and it feels like a game that will get even better as you learn all the elements of the game. As a family we play lots of board games and this certainly will be played a lot.

I received this product for free but this is my honest review. We had the lucky chance to play the 7 wonders game it took a little while to grasp the instructions, but once you've got it boy is it fun, we had some good laughs. Great fun for all the family. We have a weekly games night and a board games weekend now and then and I think 7 wonders game will make a regular appearance!
“Good strategy board game”

This strategy board game is good but not the simplest to get the hang of to start with but the instructions are very detailed explaining all rules of play , it’s based around 3 ages and after each age a war. The game is ideally suited to older children and adults and it’s for 3-7 players , each game lasts around 30-60 minutes. Highly recommended board game that’s a little different to classic board games.
“Beautifully crafted complex game”

Disclaimer: I received this game for free but this is an honest review The artwork, quality of the cards and assets and general design is beautiful, full 10/10. The learning curve is pretty steep because most concepts and resources are icons which you need to learn & figure out what they refer to first, rather than written explanations. Combined with dense rules, this means the first game was largely just a learning exercise, and likely the first couple of games will be too. BUT I really like games with dense, complicated rules so to me this isn't a negative, just a hurdle. It felt very balanced, and the game rules and mechanics were fun and seemed very well balanced. From reading the rules, it seems that it keeps very balanced as you scale up to 7 players which is great. I think it will take a few playthroughs to fully get into, but my initial impression is that it's a complex game which is rewarding if you dig deep into it.
