These are the only James Patterson books I read - but I do love this series of easy quick reads!

The 14th Deadly Sin is the fourteenth outing of the women’s murder club again rather predicable, but it does make for a pleasant Sunday read beginning to end. More murder mystery than a thriller which it definitely is not. Robberies have been taking place across San Fransico where the robbers are wearing SFPD windbreakers as they rob check (Cheque) cashing shops. They were leaving behind no forensic evidence and it was also causing a lot of problems for the police department and Boxer is on the case. Boxer attends her best friend’s birthday dinner, but she gets called out to a murder (must be no other officers in the city). Claire reminds Boxer that on her birthday for the last few years she has dashed off to a crime scene. All those murders remained unsolved. Boxer also gets her new husband involved. Yuki is offered and takes a new job as a defence attorney and her first case is to face off with the DA and the city about a death in custody. Through this case Yuli opens wide the police robbery crimes for Boxer. Cindy is off promoting her first book across the USA. All this is predictable, and you can guess how it ends it is a Patterson there is no reality or sad ending involved.
