At Last!

Etta James’ powerful, versatile and emotionally direct voice could enliven the raunchiest blues as well as the subtlest love songs, such as her signature hit, “At Last”. She was one of the most iconic soul singers, with a career that lasted decades. It was during the Sixties when Etta truly found her musical direction and made a lasting mark as a soulful pop and blues diva.

Presented here is her debut album, At Last!, released in late 1960 and noted for its varied choice in music from jazz standards to blues numbers to doo-wop and rhythm & blues. It ranked #119 on Rolling Stone’s 2012 list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
