Zigzag

This is a picaresque novel about a strange and lovable 15-year-old boy whose innocence triumphs over all adversity. ZigZag is an African-American whose odd perceptions give him a keen insight into his oppressive world. As the story opens he has just escaped from the clutches of his neglectful father.
