Zaffagnini: Recycled Papers
Synopsis
A composer of refined landscape photographs, this work takes a leap forward, provocatively Zaffagnini presents torn photographic images and forces the observer to reflect on the concepts of framing, vision and fragment. In this way he questions the harmonious relationship between photographer and camera. He makes a statement on the future of landscape photography in a world which is becoming increasingly complex and difficult to represent. The image becomes "refuse", photography simply becomes paper to be recycled, another product our society consumes and recycles in a process of continuous transformation.
