Working Gundogs

An explanation of the techniques to train spaniels and retrievers as working gundogs. Of value to the novice and experienced gundog handler taking the reader from choice to forming a working team with the dog. Each step is illustrated with photographs and line drawings. Also discussed are the benefits of training classes, requirements of the shoot, and throughout there is an emphasis on understanding the psychology and needs of the dog.
