Synopsis

A wild new picture book about a little girl who gets lost with a lovable (but very naughty) tiger!

One day mischievous Tiger convinces Lily to run away.

Together they have lots of fun STOMPING and JUMPING and GOING WILD. But as the wild gets wilder and wilder and Tiger gets naughtier and naughtier, Lily begins to wish he wasn't quite so roarsome ...

The Tiger Who Came to Tea meets The Lion Inside in this heartwarming picture book from award-winning author-illustrator, Gwen Millward.

This uplifting picture book about dealing with big emotions and finding your true home, sensitively tackles the issues and emotions faced by children in care. The perfect picture book for parents, teachers and carers to help children work through their feelings.

Gwen Millward grew up in the heart of the Welsh countryside. She had her heart set on becoming a naturalist when she was five and was quite obsessed with David Attenborough. She filled her bedroom with jars full of caterpillars and tubs of tadpoles, much to the annoyance of her sister (they shared a bedroom). She studied illustration at the Edinburgh College of Art where her passion for picture books began. She lives in Bristol.
