The diary of a father and pastor dealing with his wifes terminal illness and a discourse on the major issues raised, including the mystery of suffering and understanding the role of prayer. This is a diary kept during the 5 years of his wifes illness and records how they handled their lives in the light of it. It depicts a personal search for an authentic faith when all around appears to be crumbling. The epilogue examines in further detail some of the chief concerns raised by their journey.
