Synopsis

A young Norwegian girl, Thelma, falls in love with an English lord, Sir Phillip Errington, who is visiting Norway with friends on his yacht. The two are married, and return to London. But London's elite society are shocked by Sir Phillip's marriage to a common girl, and predict divorce and scandal.
