The: Coat and the Crucifix

The author, the Revd Dr David Thompson, has written a fascinating book, describing how his Christian beliefs have been inspired by and connected with Joseph and the coat of many colours.
This, then is a double memoir. Not only has Dr Thompson written a moving account of his own life and his spiritual journey, but at the same time the story of Joseph and his amazing adventures, which were inspired by God. Many moving parallels are drawn between the two lives in the most thought-provoking manner. He draws attention to pivotal moments in his life which might have been ascribed to chance but which he demonstrates very clearly were experiences directed by God.
He outlines his Christian philosophy, so like Joseph’s in humility and prayer, in a message which speaks to all of us in today’s frantically busy world.
