The Chronist

A young woman dies under peculiar circumstances in the English town of Shipside. Once her body arrives at the mortuary, a trespasser repeatedly makes his way onto the premises. The Coroner and his staff fail to get a clear sighting of the visitor, or grasp why he is drawn to the corpse of the young woman. A similar incident occurs in another mortuary, and Henry, a medical writer, sets out on his own to investigate.
