Team-based Learning

The author demonstrates that the ability to learn lies at the heart of effective working in teams. His book identifies the ingredients that turn good teams into teams that improve, and includes the tools for managing the process, the skills of learning and communicating within the team. It also provides a strategy for everyone involved: the team leader, whose behaviour influences team culture and performance; the team member, who needs to understand how he or she can affect the process and needs the motivation to become involved; and the training department, who need to create a climate in which team-based learning can flourish.
