Small Time Life
Synopsis
Over the last 20 years, performance artist Andre Stitt has presented hundreds of performances - or 'akshuns' - which are invariably violent and cathartic, involving self-abuse, tantrums and exoreisms. His references are wide, ranging from urban alienation to alternative religions. Small Time Life presents Andre Stitt's incredible work with images from the artist's archive, a history of his work and a series of conversations between the artist and Roddy Hunter (Lecturer in Performance Studies at Dartington School of Art).
