83-year-old retired CIA field agent Harvey Fox has been thrown out of yet another assisted living facility – this time for sleeping with seven of the residents (nine if you count nursing staff).

Harvey’s greatest skill as an operative was always his ability to charm anybody, but the only person who is immune to his charisma is his grown daughter Nancy, with whom he now has to live. When Harvey grudgingly agrees to attend a work event with his finance-bro son-in-law, he is stunned to see an old familiar face in the crowd – Dmitri Volkov, the KGB agent who nearly killed him half a century ago.

What is Volkov doing in California? Why is he involved in high-level shady financial dealings? What nefarious plot is Volkov hatching and how high up does it go? Harvey Fox realizes that he has to run one last covert operation, but doing so will dredge up memories of the last time he faced off against Dmitri Volkov.
