Restructuring Rural Saskatchewan: The Challenge of the 1990s

The companion volume to The Changing Role of Rural Communities in an Urbanizing World: Saskatchewan 1961-1990 and The Changing Role of Rural Communities in an Urbanizing World: Saskatchewan-An Update to 1995, this report focuses on changes in the system of communities that constitutes Saskatchewan's trade-centre hierarchy. While the initial study focused on changes to the structure of the system, this report takes the analysis to a finer level of detail and concentrates on changes that have affected particular types of communities and smaller geographic areas.
