Report on World Space Week 2003

This report details the background and events organised during World Space Week, established in 1999 by the UN General Assembly in order to increase awareness amongst policymakers and the public of the benefits of the peaceful uses of space. World Space Week is held annually in October, and the theme of the 2003 event was the exploration of deep space and the use of space technology.
