Ray: Lost at Sea
Synopsis
When
life seems dark, we all need a little ray of sunshine.
When a young boy is left to his
own devices, he soon lands himself in trouble.
Hiding in his bedroom, little
does he know that he isn’t the only one confined in his bedroom.
As night falls, he realises that
he is not alone and that he is about to embark on the greatest adventure he
could have ever imagined.
Award-winning writer and
illustrator Howard Priestleyand New Havenpublishingbring us a children’s story, ‘Ray’, evoking memories of Howard’s growing
up, surrounded by films, film magazines and comics as well as an equal
fascination with animated shorts, in particular the genius of Tex Avery and
Warner Brothers’ output.
‘Ray’ has all the
elements that make for a great story - humour, twists and turns, thrills and
suspense plus an unexpected ending.
“This book is a magical story which is sure to
lighten up the imagination of any young child. I recommend it for children ages
7-70, wonderful illustrations which bring the story to life. A must for all
children's bookshelves, I hope there will be a whole series of Ray and his
adventures.”
