Top stain slightly faded and a little spotting to edges but generally clean throughout. Clipped dustjacket is somewhat soiled and edge-worn with loss to spine ends and corners. Nevertheless, a handsome copy and scarce in dustjacket. Dawson was a noted Catholic historian and scholar, an influence on T.S. Eliot and Tolkien.
