Preventing A Crisis

Aiming to provide a broad introduction to the planning and training of field workers, this manual was first printed in September 1988 and reflects the collaboration between the International Planned Parenthood Federation and the World Health Organisation's Global Programme on AIDS in the effort to disseminate information on the HIV infection and change people's behaviour. The revised edition includes a number of changes to the text making it more relevant to a broader readership. In addition to updating facts, opinions and figures, the chapter on training has been extensively revised to reflect the growing experience of working with Family Planning Associations around the world.
