Laxman people these pages with memories of their childhood, The author develops these autobiographical narratives through a series of interviews with the artists concerned. Written in first person, they end with the first steps of the artists towards their careers and are preceded by introductory notes providing details of the artists' adult careers. The book is profusely illustrated with drawings and photographs.
